Have you heard of PureBake? If not - you're seriously missing out!
Based in Southampton, Natalie started PureBake in 2017 because she wanted to make cakes that everyone could enjoy, even those who have a gluten and dairy free diet.
When Natalie started her business back in 2017 she decided to set her website up herself using Wix, the popular website building platform that we've all seen adverts for on TV. Well, since then Natalie's business has changed and grown and she hadn't had the time to really update her website to reflect that.
I first met Natalie at a Collabor8 People in Business Meet Up, where she is a zone leader.
Side Note: Collabor8 is a GREAT networking group in Hampshire btw so anyone looking for a supportive group of business people to hang out with, that's where you need to be.
Anyway, when Natalie contacted me to see if I could help her update her website, I was really pleased she'd asked me and we met up over a cup of tea to run through things. We went through the specific bits Natalie wanted to change about her website and I also made a few suggestions on how we could update it to better reflect Natalie and her amazing bakes!
Once we’d agreed all the changes I got started and her website underwent it’s mini-makeover.
I thought the best way to represent the changes, as you may not have seen her website before was to do a little before and after comparison! I nearly always forget to take screenshots before starting a project but this time I remembered (YAY!).
I’m really pleased with the end result and Natalie is too (which is actually the important thing, it doesn’t really matter what I think!).
"My website that I did myself was stagnant and in dire need of a face lift. Christina and I met up and talked through what I thought the issues were and what I wanted my website to be. She was so knowledgeable and was able to turn my vision into reality. Christina did an absolutely amazing job on my website and I can thank her enough. Highly recommended!"
Completing projects likes this is one of the most rewarding things I do.
I'd love to know what you think, so pop me a message or leave a comment below!
